Freshwater Lots

Two adjoining lots located between Epinet and Dewberry streets near Admiral Semmes Avenue contain a small
tupelo swamp that provides both shelter and food for birds in this quiet neighborhood. There are no paths in
this property but birding from the car is often productive for the patient birder. As yet, no signs are posted but
they are planned for this prime location.
A third freshwater lot on the east side of Beauregard Street is two lots north of a private lot labeled “Skeeter
Swamp.” This usually wet lot does not have paths but can be birded from the street. Please respect the
neighbors’ access to their driveways and do not block the road when birding in this area.
